I'm sure buying these 6 books at the thrift store isn't really helping my Project Read All the Books.

I'm a big fan of these books. I remember seeing this book in a catalog and getting one of the librarians to order it at an old job. Now that I'm in charge of collection development at my own library, I ordered this book along with the 2 following books. They are very popular among patrons and my staff loves them as well. 

So I was very excited to find this little gem for $1.

Last year I was finally introduced to the In Death series by J.D. Robb (aka Nora Roberts). I was lucky enough to meet Roberts in July 2013 and was able to get her to sign a paperback copy of Naked in Death. Well, you can imagine my surprise when I find an autographed paperback copy of Naked in Death at the thrift store...for 99 cents.

Pretty much brand new and a great addition to my library's classic collection.

A few months ago, I found a hardback copy of Gone Girl for 99 cents at the thrift store. I kept that copy in my personal collection (side note: I completely adore Amy, I understand her twisted mind and am enthralled by her...I don't know what that says about me though). Well, when I happened upon another great hardback copy I couldn't pass it up. Especially since it was marked down from $1.59 to 80 cents!

Somebody is getting this for Christmas!

I'm in love with this series. I plan on doing a big write up once I finish with the most current one. I pretty much did a fangirl happy dance when I got this pristine hardback copy for $1 (originally marked at $1.99)

I'm all the time visiting my local thrift store looking for books to add to my library. It's not that I don't have a decent budget, but sometimes it is hard to find books in hardback. Also, I don't mind forking out 50 cents here and there if I can find something at the thrift store that will save me from having to spend $25 of my library budget. I decided to share my thrift store finds! 

Super excited about this find! We have a paperback copy of this book and it is in terrible condition, but it is constantly being checked out. I decided to order another copy (it was only available in paperback) to replace our pitiful one. I also decided to order The Maker's Diet Revolution that is coming out December 17th. Can you imagine my surprise when I found a like new hardback copy at the thrift store? The price? It was original $1.59, but I got it for $1.11!
