Southern Magic Romance Readers Luncheon

This was my first year to attend the Romance Writers of American Southern Magic Chapter's Romance Readers Luncheon. It is an all day event and I was beyond excited. I took a small break from Project Read All The Books to read some of the authors who were going to be at the luncheon. I have been so excited all week! When I went to RWA's Librarian Day in July, I had the best time ever...and came back with so much swag! I didn't take as many pictures as I liked, but I thought I would share a few with you.

I won a free download of Once Burned by Jeaniene Frost (THE KEYNOTE!!!) on audio, read by the amazing Tavia Gilbert. Gilbert was also there and read several chapters from various Cat and Bones books. She was wonderful!

Jeaniene Frost! I have been looking forward to this luncheon for a year because of Frost! I started reading her work when I realized she was going to be the keynote and my life has changed for the better! Oh Bones! Oh, Vlad! *swoon*

I won an author gift basket from Kira Sinclair. It was filled with her books, chocolates, and many lovely things! 

I won another gift basket in the raffle! This was the Thanksgiving basket which had 4 throw pillows and a wire pumpkin and cute Fall decorations!

Haters gonna hate! I won a THIRD gift basket! This basket was a *spicy basket*! It had erotica books, a bottle of Menage a Trois wine, some KY (yes, they went there!) and lots of other goodies. 

All my swag in the truck! Thanks to my minions  friends for helping me get it to my car. All the winning might have gone to my head.

I had a blast and I can't wait to attend another luncheon in June and hopefully the Romantic Times Booklovers Convention in May.
